One Bug
Nestled amongst roses
A tiny jewel in a sea of crimson petals
Delicate wings flickering
An iridescent kaleidoscope
Small and fragile, so out of place
The little intruder awaits
While velvet petals in blood red
Thrust out their intricate beauty
The blooms provide a drama
To the bug’s quiet existence
Inviting a closer look, a deeper appreciation
To small miracles in the midst of grandeur
A silent reminder of the intricate tapestry
Of nature where every thread,
No matter how small
Is essential to the whole.
